Bone Apetit!

This Saturday - 2/19/05 - is Isle-Ditter Dog and Island pooches and their people will be flocking to Louie's for the LMHS fundraiser. This year, hungry pups (and they are all hungry all the time, aren't they?) will be able to place an order from a large selection of goodies created just for them at the all new K9 Cafe. Be sure to tip generously! All proceeds benefit the local Animal Shelter.

South Padre's Changing Skyline

Don "Dad Feets" Wierenga sends this photo, shot from his 12th floor condo at Saida Royale:

"Don't mess with my view! New construction next to Bridgepoint is bound to impact my skyline view. I know, I don't own the view or the property . . . I'll need to trust local ordinances!"

Ditter Dog Meeting

Here is my Wags - the short scruffy one - making a new friend at last week's Isle Ditter Dog festivities. Wags is in his 17th year and has not missed a single IDD festival in the 7 years the LMHS has been holding them.

Changing of the Seasons

The median age of people on the island is about to take a precipitous dive downward as it does every year at this time. It is time to say "adios & happy trails" to our Winter Texan friends - hope to see you all again next year!
