Greetings from the Island!
Things are heating up here on beautiful South Padre -- warmer
weather is just part of the story. Yesterday it took me 30
minutes to get from Kelly's to my house on Saturn at around 5 PM -
and that was taking Gulf Blvd. There is a record number of cops
(all flavors) lurking and reports indicate they are giving tickets
for exceedingly minor infractions (i.e. lack of seatbelts.) Tickets
can exceed $100 -- Consider yourselves warned.
Had a nice chat this morning with "Amazin' Walter." A bit of a
local celeb, Amazin' is currently working a stint for
southpadrelive.com. This new site features streaming video shows
of SPI spring break '02. (UPDATE: The site creators have been
tweaking their code - if you are seeing a garbled mess, try changing
the settings to 56k even if you have a faster connection.)
Amazin' is walking around with a
big ol' smile, a big ol' camera and a big ol' press badge and if
you see him wandering around, be sure and make him focus on your
smiling mug -- and try not to say anything stupid. SouthPadreLive
has done extensive filming on the beach as well as at the big
clubs - which have all been packed these last few nights. He tells
the story of a couple of girls who won wet t contests by baring all
and then whined when their performances were captured for
eternity on video. One might draw the conclusion here that if you
don't want video cameras to document your strip show, you might be
well-advised to keep your clothes on...

DadCam Updates: Dad Feets has started adding personal
observations to his photo submissions and I think you might find
them interesting. He has also gotten at least one personal request
for a photo that he has been able to fulfill - read the Peter and
Yolanda story here. We've outfitted Dad Feets in an official
"DadCam" T-shirt (he was starting to feel like a weirdo voyeur or
something) so keep an eye out for him on Coca Cola Beach next
week. And when you get back to your home computer, surf over to
the DadCam pages to relive the memories....

Spring Break Olympics March 10-18, 20, & 22. Gold, Silver & Bronze
medallions for the winning three couples in the following events:
· Paintathon -- 12 couples compete to paint one of the partners
bodies with artwork that best expresses "Life in Paradise".
· Freestyle Swim Wear -- 12 couples compete to make a homemade
swimsuit for one of the partners from materials contained in a zip
lock bag.
· Body Shot Relays -- Couples compete against time in doing back
to back Body Shots with Sauza tequila and Body Carry their shot
glasses to the finish line.
· Synchronized Cross Dressing - - Couples compete against time in
changing clothes in a semi private dressing room.
· Ride Your Man Relay -- Couples compete against time in a relay
race, in a friction reduced environment.
· Gymnasties -- Couples compete against time sharing their sexual
knowledge.

If you are still counting the days until you come to Padre, be
sure to cruise regularly through the forum. Returning breakers are
posting useful tips, tricks and hints and you would do well to
profit from their mistakes. To wit:
i just got back from SPI last night!! and i had lots
of fun!! but yet some very bad xperiences!!! i stayed
at the Gulf View II and the security there is very easy
to bribe and we partied at Bahia Mar 2 nights and the
security there is pretty easy to bribe also.
On the way to the island and back DO NOT SPEED i got a
speeding ticket yesterday @ LOS FRESNOS!! and my friend
got a ticket in the island for not wearing a seat belt.
another piece of advise LOCK EVERYTHING IN YOUR ROOM UP IF YOU HAVE A SAMLL PARTY!!! SUN. NIGHT WE GOT ROBBED!!! SO LOOK OUT FOR THOSE THEIFS!!
