info = I lived on the isla for numerous years and even returned a few times i was employed by the radisson hotel and also am known as the wacko on kzsp 95.3 (back when it rocked!!!!) Info: We moved from the Island 12/98 and miss it terribly. Mark worked with Blackbeards Restaurant for 19 yrs and I worked with Aace Condo Rentals for 6 yrs. We moved to the Dallas area for our son's education, it sure was not for the traffic!! Mark's says he is like "Fish out of Water" up here in the city but we try and visit as often as we can. We both miss all the locals and the wonderful LAID BACK LIFE OF SPI!!!

Her mom, Ginny, and I bought a condo several years ago and enjoy the winter and other extended vacations at this beautiful place. info = I was born in Laredo, and lived there and in McAllen until 1993, when I moved to Oregon with my family. I am currently going to Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, and hope to find a job in SPI. Growing up, we always spent a lot of time there, and the best memories I have are of fishing the flats early in the morning and watching the sunset over the bay...it's been over a year since I've been there, and that's a year too long. I knew from the first time I saw it that it was going to be home one day. Hopefully that day comes soon!
